Tim Painter | MBA, MM
Mr. Painter is the President of Lindus Advisors, Inc. and serves as Senior Portfolio Manager. He holds an MBA in Corporate Finance as well as a post-MBA Master of Management degree in Financial Services with a focus on Investment Management. Mr. Painter has over 26 years of experience in investment and wealth management. He also taught the subjects of Portfolio Management and Securities Analysis as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Dallas, Graduate School of Management MBA program. Prior to joining Lindus Advisors, Inc., Mr. Painter worked for over six years with Fidelity Investments’ High Net-Worth Client Group, where, as a member of a ten-person team, he worked with clients whose portfolios totaled more than $6.8 billion. Prior to joining Fidelity Investments, Mr. Painter spent seven years as a principal and manager with Painter Financial Group, providing investment advice and financial planning services. Mr. Painter also has previous large company field audit experience with a Fortune 100 Company.
Heather McKinney | J.D.
Ms. McKinney serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. She is also an Investment Adviser Representative for Lindus Advisors, Inc. Ms. McKinney earned her Juris Doctor degree from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and in the top third of her class. Prior to law school, Ms. McKinney earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, majoring in English with a concentration in non-fiction and technical writing from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she also graduated cum laude. Since joining Lindus, Ms. McKinney has successfully passed the FINRA Series 65 Investment Adviser Law Exam. She is an attorney licensed to practice law in Texas.
Ms. McKinney’s legal and regulatory experience has included an internship with the Federal Trade Commission and judicial internships in the Dallas County Court as well as with Federal District Courts in both the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas. She represents Lindus Advisors as a member of the DFW Compliance Roundtable.
Before joining Lindus Advisors, Ms. McKinney managed a multimillion dollar entertainment cruise operation in Chicago. She also has an active interest in theatre and improvisational comedy and has performed professionally in multiple venues in both Dallas and Chicago.
Sontwa Sinkala | MA, Ph.D.
Dr. Sinkala serves as the Senior Economic and Investment Analyst with Lindus Advisors, Inc. His expertise includes economic modeling and firm valuation. In addition to performing fundamental company analysis and valuation, Dr. Sinkala provides input to the investment committee regarding economic and quantitative models. Dr. Sinkala has served as a consultant working with International Monetary Fund and World Bank programs. He has also served as team leader and consultant for the Canadian International Development Agency where he conducted investment project analysis and feasibility studies. Dr. Sinkala has also taught introductory and senior level classes in statistics, international relations and economics at the University of Winnipeg. He holds an M.A. in International Development and a Ph.D. in Economics and International Development.
Mr. Painter serves as a Financial Advisor providing customized investment advice and financial guidance for families and individuals. Prior to joining Lindus Advisors, Mr. Painter served as an Associate Financial Advisor with The Texas Financial Group – Dallas, a Northwestern Mutual affiliate, where he created client-specific comprehensive financial and investment plans and provided consulting, coaching, and support for both clients and financial representative colleagues. Additionally, he served as an Assistant Vice President at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Dallas, Texas serving as an Incident & Problem Manager for the Worldwide Securities Services, Institutional Trust Services, Treasury Services, and Commercial Banking lines of business. Mr. Painter earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics, and graduated magna cum laude from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee.
Mr. Painter is married with two teenage children. He is active in his church and community, and serves as a soccer referee with his community’s soccer association.
